This year, one of my goals is to be an extremely open and honest writer…
I hope as we go along, you’d get to understand why I say this.
So today, I decided to write about this year long “crush” I’ve had on a certain lady (Since January 2019 😫💔).
It’s a long story, so it’s gonna take several posts to finish it I hope you are able to follow it through till the end.
Well, here goes…

Until she found out that the kind of love I had for her was more than the bond mere friends shared that could make them walk in the alley hand-in-hand and be normal, and that it was the kind that got people who dreamed of someday walking down the aisle intertwined – Until she got to know I was so in deep as if intoxicated by wine, and that all I wanted was for her to be mine – Until that day, when the cat was let out of the bag, the chick broke from the shell, we were the most amazing of friends, as best as they come.
We talked about virtually everything, I mean everything.
I had done the math, the way she smiled and rolled her eyes when I gave her that passionate look, the way her skin melted into mine when my hand grabbed hers, the way my heart responded to her touch, and the way her eyes told me my burning desire was well reciprocated – I was so sure this was it!
We had only been friends for a few months, and, not a single day went by without me giving in to my urge to get in touch with her.. Call, text… Anything!… I just couldn’t wait for another sunset without hearing from her.
The first day we met, we were actually in Church. There were many cute girls sitting on the same row as mine, but my eyes saw none of them, literally!
Something about her piqued my interest – legit, it wasn’t anything like “love at first sight”, I just knew I wanted to get to know her.
I won’t admit I was distracted for the most part of the service 😂, but since she was sitting very close, I got to engage her in a chit chat, and used my super powers as one heck of a conversationalist to get her name and contact number.
And that my friends is how the story begins…
