Some things just take time.

It’s not about how bad you want it.

It’s not about how hard you’re willing to work for it.

Some things just take time—the only way to get it is to wait for it.

You’re not alone, there are many others out there who just want to skip to the good part.

Don’t take it too seriously when someone wakes up one morning and decides to do a video in their pajamas—pauses it, goes to change into some impressive outfits, resumes the video, retouches the finished video, cuts out all the scenes they don’t like, and posts a 10 second video ‘skipping to the good part.’

I know you know the transition is not real, but I also know you take it too seriously because it’s beginning to affect how you see yourself—how unimpressive you think you are, it’s influencing you to form an outlook on life that’s just not real.

You can’t skip your way to earning that degree.

You can’t skip past studying hard to prepare to ace that interview.

You can’t transition into a mature, and emotionally intelligent person overnight.

You won’t metamorphose into someone who’s established multiple streams of income for themselves in a day.

Some things take time!

It takes time to build that career you dream of.

It will take time to hone your skills.

It will take a while to master your craft.

There will be that storm you can’t stop—you only have to wait it out.

If you’re willing to stay the course you’ve been called to pursue, no matter how difficult it gets, time will perform a surgery on your heart—you will eventually evolve into a patient, kind, and thoughtful individual who places value on everything.

If it takes you long enough to get the right people in your space, you will treat them right.

If you have to endure long seasons of hardship to acquire what you have now, you will handle it with so much care.

Don’t be deceived to become one of the many out there uninterested in details.

Pay attention to every detail—it’s all in there.

What you do daily builds up the momentum that gets you attaining heights beyond the ordinary.
